- The AmigaOS, unlike MacOS and Windows, lacks a good font standard.
- CompuGraphic fonts are the Amiga standard, but they are not the
- industry standard and thus each major Amiga application has to
- incorporate the equivalent of good system font engines into their
- program to support the CompuGraphic font system and other industry
- standards. Thus, a standalone utility to print font samples on the
- Amiga would be limited to CompuGraphic fonts unless the programmer
- had the same resources as the major developers to develop or license
- font engines.

- of all or selected fonts, in any of PageStream's support font
- formats.
